Passion and Generations of Sustainable Farming

On a gentle slope in the Swan Creek AVA of the Yadkin Valley is Laurel Gray Vineyards, a place where you’ll discover a family owned award-winning winery and vineyard. For 10-generations the Myers family has farmed this valley since they were granted 400-acres of land by Queen Charlotte of England in 1773. Fast forward to 1999 when Ben and Kim Myer’s dream of preserving the beautiful family farm inspired them to plant wine grapes and convert an old milking parlor into what is the LG tasting room today. For over 20-years the Myers family has sustainably farmed the vineyards and proudly produce what wine critics call some the best award- winning wines in not only North Carolina but the East Coast.
